Annette Himstedt Tara Doll, 1993-94 Annette Himstedt 1993-94, 29 inch vinyl and cloth Tara doll from the Reflections of Youth Collection is preowned, but in excellent condition in her box, includes original packing box, though it is beat up, and has her certificate. This 'kinder' artist doll has long dark pinkish blonde wig with braid on top, and blue eyes with long lashes. She is a sitting doll with realistically shaped bare feet. Her outfit includes a white dress and her unique gold and pearl pierced earrings. This doll has lovely coloring. The lashes on right eye have become uncurled and appear uneven and in her eyes because of this, while left eye lashes curl nicely. The right lashes could be recurled or reset by someone skilled. Tara is a lovely mature-looking young girl with a strong personality. Her shipping container is beat up. Twenty Five Inch Cloth Applause Raggedy Ann Doll Applause 25 inch Raggedy Ann Doll with bright red yarn hair, all cloth body, embroidered eyes, nose, and smiling mouth. The label does not give a date but she was probably produced between 1981 and 1990s. The item no. on the label is 8458. This happy doll's outfit includes a long-sleeved teal blue dress with red dots, a white apron embroidered with 'Raggedy Ann', and white pantaloons. Her body has an embroidered heart with 'I love you', and her legs are red and white striped to represent stockings with black feet to represent shoes. This wonderful doll was pre-owned by a collector. Her condition is clean and excellent. The only flaw we can find is that the pantaloons have slightly stretched elastic at the ankles, but elastic at the waist is firm and holds up the pants. This is an excellent doll for either a collector or a child to love.

This is part of a collection honoring Raggedy Ann's 90th birthday, and it was produced in a limited edition of 2000 for Ashton-Drake Galleries along with other sets of Raggedy Ann and her Storybook friends. The doll and plush camel resemble a 1940s illustration by Justin Gruelle, a member of Johnny Gruelle's family. Johnny Gruelle wrote 29 of these books based on the stories that he told his daughter, Marcella, when she was terminally ill. The soft Raggedy doll is 12 inches tall; and she has red yarn hair, black button eyes, and a smiling screened face with triangular nose. She is wearing a blue floral print dress with white apron, and white bloomers, red and white striped stockings, and black shoes. Her soft brown camel friend is approximately 7 inches long and has a yellow covering with red and blue ribbon, red feet, and wrinkled knees. Zanininia and Zambelli Germaine Boudoir Doll Stunningly beautiful Zanininia and Zambelli 67 Germaine Odette Doll, Model No. 641 24 inch slender boudoir doll. This beautiful doll is the work of an Italian doll maker. The printing on the box does not give any indication of the production date. The style resembles the bed dolls of the 1920s, but she was probably from the 1970s or early 1980s. This doll is in near mint condition, and includes the back of her box with an Eiffel Tower painting. The box is battered, but the doll is fantastic. She has a brown flip wig and painted blue eyes. In addition to painted on black high heels, she is wearing a dress of an off-white lacy chiffon fabric, purple velvet sash with flowers, lacy wide hat, cloth body, waxy looking face with painted eyes and beauty marks, waxy looking legs and feet. The box is beat up and missing any covering or window, but the doll is near mint except for some of the white lace turning ivory from age. Larger than usual package. Vintage Composition and Stuffed Antique Baby Doll This 21 inch composition and stuffed cloth body baby doll is from approximately the 1920s or earlier. This doll belonged to a friend's mother. She has a closed mouth facial expression with rosy cheeks and nice painting of her lips, lashes, and eyebrows. Her head, arms, and legs are composition. There are minor scrapes and scratches with one whitish streak. Otherwise her face is in far superior shape from most composition dolls from this era that I have seen. She has a short reddish brown mohair wig over molded hair, with the mohair matching the shade of the old wig netting so that sparse places are not as noticeable from the distance as they would otherwise have been. Her glass-like blue and amber eyes have white painted around the edge. Her face, arms, and legs, are composition. Her body is stuffed cloth that is in excellent and clean condition. The tip of one finger on her left hand is broken; she has all other fingers, hands, toes, and feet. There are scrapes, but nothing else major. There are no markings on this doll. Her outfit includes a sweet vintage-style pastel baby dress with white and pale blue embroidering that is in excellent condition. Her outfit is stitched partly on her and closes with a pin at the neckline. She is also wearing a cream colored older apron with a pink floral print hemline and edging to pocket. It is in excellent condition. The tights, socks, and shoes, are newer and added. The old blanket that came with her is included. This precious toddler doll has been lovingly preserved and cared for over the years. This type of baby doll was very popular in the 1900s through the 1930s. Expand listing to view all 7 photographs. Berenger All Vinyl 13 Inch Baby Doll Berenger preowned and loved 13 inch all-vinyl baby doll from around 1992 (based on the date on the Berenger tag on her diaper). Berenger is a company in Spain that makes realistic baby dolls. She comes from the estate of an adult collector and may be partially redressed, though the tagged printed diaper is definitely original, and fitted pink blanket with a stork print head covering fits so well that it is most likely original. She has molded and sprayed brownish hair and inset blue eyes. She has a happy open mouth express without teeth. She also wears a white nightgown covered by a white eyelet skirt and a white bonnet. 1950s Emmett Kelly's Willie the Clown Doll, Baby Barry Toy This is a realistic 21 inch stuffed cloth and soft vinyl head and hands Emmett Kelly's Willie the Sad Hobo Clown doll from the 1950s Baby Barry Toy of New York City. The top of his head is bald surrounded by rooted lifelike unkempt reddish hair and inset brown eyes. He has a realistic sculpted sad face with a big red nose that has some rub and black marks on it, an unshaved look with forehead lines. His coloring is superb, and his hand are in great condition. His body also appears to be in great shape. He is dressed in blue pants with red suspenders. The pants have 2 front patches. Under his brown felt jacket with checked front is a green shirt and colorful ragged tie. The shirt shows some soil. On his feet are large felt shoes. He is missing his hat and is not perfect, but he is in great condition to be as old as he is. His coloring is excellent. He still has his label on the side of his jacket.
