Ty Stretch the Ostrich Beanie Buddy Plush c. 1998-99 Ty, Inc. Stretch the Ostrich Beanie Buddy plush, is a larger version of the smaller beanie baby. This beanie buddy ostrich has a long flocked beige neck, a soft fuzzy body, white and brown wings, and black eyes surrounded by amber. Stretch is about 12 inches long from breast to tail and about 16 inches tall from the top of his head on his long neck to end of long legs and feet when standing. The label on his body says that Stretch was produced in 1998. The tag for Stretch states that the smaller Beanie Baby version of this bird character was one of the most difficult to produce due to the long neck and numerous parts.
