Vintage Composition and Stuffed Antique Baby Doll Approximately 21 inch composition and stuffed cloth body baby doll from approximately the 1920s or earlier. This doll belonged to a friend's mother. She has a closed mouth facial expression with rosy cheeks and nice painting of her lips, lashes, and eyebrows. Her head, arms, and legs are composition. There are minor scrapes and scratches with one whitish streak. Otherwise her face is in far superior shape from most composition dolls from this era that I have seen. She has a short reddish brown mohair wig over molded hair, with the mohair matching the shade of the old wig netting so that sparse places are not as noticeable from the distance as they would otherwise have been. Her glass-like blue and amber eyes have white painted around the edge. Her face, arms, and legs, are composition. Her body is stuffed cloth that is in excellent and clean condition. The tip of one finger on her left hand is broken but she has all other fingers, hands, toes, and feet. There are scrapes, but nothing else major. There are no markings on this doll. Her outfit includes a sweet vintage-style pastel baby dress with white and pale blue embroidering that is in excellent condition. Her outfit is stitched partly on her and closes with a pin at the neckline. She is also wearing a cream colored older apron with a pink floral print hemline and edging to pocket. It is in excellent condition. The tights, socks, and shoes, are newer and added. The old blanket that came with her is included. This precious toddler doll has been lovingly preserved and cared for over the years. This type of baby doll was very popular in the 1900s through the 1930s. Expand listing to view all 7 photographs. Annette Himstedt Tara Doll, 1993-94 Annette Himstedt 1993-94, 29 inch vinyl and cloth Tara doll from the Reflections of Youth Collection is preowned, but in excellent condition in her box, includes original packing box, and has her certificate. This 'kinder' artist doll has long dark pinkish blonde wig with braid on top, and blue eyes with long lashes. She is a sitting doll with realistically shaped bare feet. Her outfit includes a white dress and her unique gold and pearl pierced earrings. This doll has lovely coloring. The lashes on right eye have become uncurled and appear uneven and in her eyes because of this, while left eye lashes curl nicely. The right lashes could be recurled or reset by someone skilled. Ty Stretch the Ostrich Beanie Buddy Plush c. 1998-99 Ty, Inc. Stretch the Ostrich Beanie Buddy plush, is a larger version of the smaller beanie baby. This beanie buddy ostrich has a long flocked beige neck, a soft fuzzy body, white and brown wings, and black eyes surrounded by amber. Stretch is approximately 12 inches long from breast to tail and about 16 inches tall from the top of his head on his long neck to end of long legs and feet when standing. The label on his body says that Stretch was produced in 1998. The tag for Stretch states that the smaller Beanie Baby version of this bird character was one of the most difficult to produce due to the long neck and numerous parts. Applause Raggedy Ann Doll and Camel with Wrinkled Knees Applause all-cloth Raggedy Ann and the Camel with Wrinkled Knees set from 2002. This is part of a collection in honor of Raggedy Ann's 90th birthday, and it was produced in a limited edition of 2000 for Ashton-Drake Galleries along with other sets of Raggedy Ann and her Storybook friends. The doll and plush camel resemble a 1940s illustration by Justin Gruelle, a member of Johnny Gruelle's family. Johnny Gruelle wrote 29 of these books based on the stories that he told his daughter, Marcella, when she was terminally ill. The soft Raggedy doll is about 12 inches tall; and she has red yarn hair, black button eyes, and a smiling screened face with triangular nose. She is wearing a blue floral print dress with white apron, and white bloomers, red and white striped stockings, and black shoes. Her soft brown camel friend is approximately 7 inches long and has a yellow covering with red and blue ribbon, red feet, and wrinkled knees. Set is in an over-sized box with storybook pictures and certificate on one leaf. Doll and camel are mint-in-box though box has minor denting.

Madame Alexander Colonial-Era Madame Doll 1967-72 Madame Alexander 14 inch 1967-72 vinyl Madame Doll represents a doll character from a story about the U.S. Colonial Era. She has a Mary Ann face, blonde hair styled in ringlets, and moving blue eyes. She is wearing a long Revolutionary War-era dress of pink satin-like brocade with pantaloons and petticoats with a secret pocket, off-white duster cap, wrist booklet that tells her story, and replaced pearls. This doll does not have a box, but she is in very good condition though the duster cap's elastic has been re-sewn. The wrist booklet that comes with her briefly tells the story of the doll used for hiding the family's pearls from the British during the American Revolution. Doll was preowned. For this doll Anne ends in an e, instead of 'Ann'. Her outfit includes a pale yellow pique apron trimmed in red cotton over a blue and white striped cotton dress. Of course she wouldn't be complete without her 'golden' glasses, grey and blue striped tights, brown knit and suede-like button-up boots, and hand painted jump rope with red, white, and blue handles. Raggedy Ann & Andy's Rainy Day Songs & Games Record Set 1980 Softcover Coloring Book and Small Size 33.33 rpm Record Set, 'Raggedy Ann and Andy's Rainy Day Songs and Games', Bobbs-Merrill Company and Kid Stuff Records, 1980. This does not have an ISBN. The book, which is in excellent condition, has 16 pages. Its black and white pictures were meant to be colored. We have not tried to play the record. Because the record has some visible light scratches on both sides, this set is available at a reduced price. A note with the set says that the record narrates the book. The book and record's story includes the songs, 'The Farmer in the Dell', 'Little Bo Peep', ' Mary Had a Little Lamb', and 'Ring Around the Rosy.' Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy are loveable rag doll characters created by Johnny Gruelle. This book was pre-owned by a serious collector and is a great addition to a collection or wonderful entertainment for children. The used book is in very good condition except for the noted flaw.
