This is part of a collection honoring Raggedy Ann's 90th birthday, and it was produced in a limited edition of 2000 for Ashton-Drake Galleries along with other sets of Raggedy Ann and her Storybook friends. The doll and plush camel resemble a 1940s illustration by Justin Gruelle, a member of Johnny Gruelle's family. Johnny Gruelle wrote 29 of these books based on the stories that he told his daughter, Marcella, when she was terminally ill. The soft Raggedy doll is 12 inches tall; and she has red yarn hair, black button eyes, and a smiling screened face with triangular nose. She is wearing a blue floral print dress with white apron, and white bloomers, red and white striped stockings, and black shoes. Her soft brown camel friend is approximately 7 inches long and has a yellow covering with red and blue ribbon, red feet, and wrinkled knees. Vogue Sparky Stumps for Votes, Ginny's Pup 2000 Vogue 2000 white Scottie Sparky puppy dog with tan ears, jointed legs, and a black blanket and leash with golden sparkle to go with 7 to 8 inch Vogue Ginny dolls. The dog is 4 by 3 inches in size. Sparky is new and mint in the red, white, and blue box that goes with the modern Ginny dolls in the Ginny for President series when Sparky was his little mistress's running mate for vice president. Sparky comes with 4 additional campaign garments including a yellow hat to help woo the labor vote, a white with tan striped trim puppy covering, a red with black dots coat, and a red plaid coat. These coordinate with the outfits of the Ginny for President dolls and were only available at special Ginny events. He comes with a card sized certificate signed by Linda K. Smith, President of Vogue Dolls and Campaign Manager.
