*Note: It normally takes 3-5 days for an order to ship after it is placed and sometimes longer if the weather here is bad. Then there is the additional travel time to you. As of 01/02/2012, the Fed Ex shipping costs have risen sharply with shipping to homes in rural areas and Areas on the East Coast especially costly, so standard shipping for packages weighing under 3-4 pounds most likely will mean sending packages USPS 1st Class if 13 oz or under, Priority if 14 oz to 3 pounds, and FedEx Ground or Parcel Post for heavier packages within the mainland USA. Packages to Hawaii and Alaska need to go USPS Priority or Express Mail. USPS rates will rise too in mid Jan., but are more predictable. We use InsurePost, a division of Shipsurance for shipping insurance for USPS packages and sometimes for the amount of FedEx packages over $100.00. |
