We hope you enjoy browsing our store . We have many lovely choices. Thank you so much for your business.

It normally takes 2-4 days for an order to ship after it is placed and sometimes longer if the weather here is bad, though most orders get filled much faster after they are paid. There is additional travel time to you. Fed Ex shipping costs have risen sharply with shipping to homes in rural areas and Areas on the East Coast especially costly, so we use it for only the largest and heaviest packages or by personal request. Standard shipping for packages weighing under 3-4 pounds most likely will mean sending packages USPS 1st Class if 13 oz or under, Priority if 14 oz to not over 2 pounds, and USPS Parcel Select or FedEx Ground for heavier packages within the mainland USA. It is best for packages to Hawaii and Alaska to go at least by USPS Priority Mail, though 1st Class Mail will work for small packages 13 ounces and under. We do send them Parcel Select, but this can be quite slow. We use Endicia, InsurePost, or ShipSaver shipping insurance for most USPS packages over $50.00 and sometimes for the amount of FedEx packages over $100.00. Packages totalling up to $50.00 that go by USPS Priority mail are automatically insured by the post office. We usually adjust shipping prices downward before the final charge for customers living closer to Calif. and items that are smaller and lighter than the usual package on our rate chart, and anything that can go by insured 1st Class Package shipping. We are also happy to adjust shipping for PayPal customers.

If a package is international, Priority Express Mail International takes a week and can be tracked, Priority International Mail takes 2-3 weeks and can also be tracked with the exception of small flat rate boxes and merchandise in envelopes. 1st Class Package International mail can be used for smaller international packages weighing under 4 pounds and take 4-8 weeks. These cannot be tracked, but there is delivery confirmation on packages to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and some West European countries. Insurance claims cannot be filed until 45 days have passed or 60 days for Italy.

HIT0001

Book: Rosemary Wells Ed.: Hitty: Her First Hundred Years The book offered is Rosemary Well's 1999 color version of the hardcover edition of 'Rachel Field's Hitty: Her First Hundred Years', and it has color illustrations by Susan Jeffers. Susan Jeffers' book, that this one revises and adds to, was first published in 1929, and it was a winner of the Newberry Award. This Rosemary Wells edition of the book has 112 pages. This edition has many of the stories from Rachel Field's 1929 book, but it also adds some variations in the adventures that coincide with other historical events. Some wording such as the terms 'heathens' and 'savages' have been changed to fit the language of Rosemary Wells' time in the 1990s. Rosemary Wells uses much of the first part of Hitty's doll life from Rachel Fields book, but she departs from the Civil War era story until the end of the book with different adventures. This version of the story mixes real historical characters with an exciting imaginative story that cannot be put down by either children or older readers. Its ISBN numbers are 10: 0689817169 and 13: 9780689817168. This gently used beautiful and interesting book is in like new and mint condition. Expand listing to view all 5 photographs.

This does not have an ISBN. The coloring book, which is in excellent condition, contains 16 pages. Its black and white pictures are intended to be colored. We have not tried to play the record. Because the record has some visible light scratches on both sides, this set is available at a reduced price. A note with the set says that the record narrates the book. The book and record's story contains the songs: 'The Farmer in the Dell', 'Little Bo Peep', ' Mary Had a Little Lamb', and 'Ring Around the Rosy.' Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy are loveable rag doll characters created by Johnny Gruelle. This book was pre-owned by a serious collector and is a great addition to a collection or wonderful entertainment for children. The used book is in very good condition except for the noted flaw.
